Teach you to identify the 5 signals before your baby is sick

Infants and toddlers have poor adaptability to the weather, and are susceptible to illness in the spring. Parents should pay close attention to some changes in the child and detect the child’s physical discomfort early.

  1. Children with healthy emotional changes are often mentally full.

If the child suddenly becomes irritable, his face is red, and it is mostly a sign of fever; his eyes are dull, his fists in both hands are often a sign of convulsions; his legs flexed and rolled are a sign of abdominal pain.

But if the crying is weak or not crying, it means that the condition is serious.

  2. Changes in appetite If the child usually eats milk, eats well, suddenly refuses milk or is unable to suck, or eats less, there may be an infection; if the child has abdominal distension and the mouth smells sour, it may indicate a baby’s indigestion.

3, changes in sleep Children such as irritability before bedtime, kicking during sleep, or redness after waking up, are often a reflection of fever; continuous chewing or grinding teeth before or after bedtime may be excessive excitement or tapeworms before bedtimeInfection, etc.

4, changes in breathing If the child’s breathing becomes thicker, the frequency of facial redness may be fever; shortness of breath, fluttering of the nose, bruising around the lips, depression of intercostal muscles or depression of the sternum during breathing, it is likely to have pneumonia.

Children often have cyanosis on their lips, and their faces are gray and blue. Beware of myocarditis or congenital heart disease.

  5. Weight change After the child is born, the weight gain speeds up.

If the rate of weight gain slows down or falls, the effects of the disease, such as diarrhea, malnutrition, anemia and other symptoms or illnesses should be suspected.
